What Is ECU Remapping Explained
Remapping involves data or (Maps) that are stored within a chip that is located on a circuit board inside the vehicles ECU (Engine control unit). The data stored on the chip is in a binary form this data is used by the main processor in the ECU to control the engine.
To start the remapping process we plug our equipment in to the diagnostic socket of the vehicle and using our professional hardware we take a copy of the original MAP stored in the ECU.

From there we can load the original mapping in to our in-house software and identify the addresses of various parameters that control fuelling, ignition timing, turbo boost and many more to optimise the performance of your vehicle.

Once the modified file is completed it can then be programmed to the ECU using our specialist equipment by obd, bdm or programmer.
All of our MAPS are custom tuned to each car so all data specific to the vehicle is kept, no generic maps are used by mas performance.
